Statewide Impact: 2,347 Jobs and $1.1 Billion Investment
The Ohio Tax Credit Authority recently authorized 17 projects throughout the state, collectively projected to generate 2,347 new jobs and retain 8,592 existing positions. According to a release from Governor Mike DeWine’s office, these ventures are expected to inject over $148 million in new payroll and stimulate more than $1.1 billion in investments across Ohio. A significant portion of this growth will be concentrated in Northeast Ohio, specifically within Cuyahoga and Lake counties.
Ohio Lumex Co., Inc. Expands in Solon
Ohio Lumex Co., Inc., located in Solon, is planning an expansion that will add 30 full-time-equivalent positions and generate $2.8 million in new annual payroll. The company, a manufacturer of advanced measurement solutions, intends to expand its building and invest in new machinery and equipment to accommodate continued innovation. The Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a 1.338 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit to support the project.
Poly6 Technologies, Inc. to Establish New Location in Eastlake
Poly6 Technologies, Inc. is establishing a new location in Eastlake, a move expected to create 164 full-time-equivalent positions and contribute $10.5 million in new annual payroll. The company specializes in developing intelligent materials for digital and additive manufacturing, serving high-precision industries such as aerospace and energy. This expansion is driven by the need to scale production for a key customer. A 1.597 percent, nine-year Job Creation Tax Credit was approved by the TCA for this project.
Revere Plastics Systems, LLC Drives Job Growth in Clyde
Revere Plastics Systems, LLC, based in Clyde, is undertaking an expansion project that will result in the creation of 378 full-time-equivalent positions and generate $18.5 million in new annual payroll. The company, a provider of custom-engineered plastic injection-molded components and assembly services, is investing significantly in machinery and equipment to meet growing demand for its products. The Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a 1.463 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit to facilitate this expansion.
