Oil announces the operation of CABSAT for gas investment in the middle of this year

Today, Friday, the Ministry of Oil announced the operation of CABSAT for gas investment in the middle of this year.

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Gas Affairs, Izzat Saber, told the (INA) that “discussions took place with the relevant authorities to prepare for next summer to increase and invest gas and reduce flaring.”
He pointed out, “Capsat operated two different sites during the first half of this year to raise the electrical stations with the largest amount of gas.”
The Ministry of Oil announced earlier the signing of contracts to invest gas in all fields, and confirmed the achievement of important steps to increase national production.
We stated that “the most important projects that it achieved is the contract concluded with the French company Total to invest 600 million standard cubic feet per day from five fields in Basra Governorate.”
She added, “The Ministry has made great progress in investing in the Halfaya gas field, which will provide up to 300 million standard cubic feet per day, in addition to investing in gas in the Dhi Qar fields, which will provide up to 200 million standard cubic feet per day, in addition to the existence of contracts to invest in Basra gas of up to 200 million standard cubic feet per day.” 1,000 million standard cubic feet from three important fields,” explaining, “These will provide large quantities in total.”
