No downtime among the Gauls. While Parc Astérix closed its doors to the public on Sunday and will open them again on March 30, the recruitment campaign for the 2024 season will start from Monday January 15.

To celebrate its 35th anniversary, the site has spared no expense and is looking for more than 2,500 seasonal workers, 500 more than last year. A rise in power which is confirmed, year after year, and which reflects the growing ambitions of the second largest amusement park in France in terms of attendance.

“After a very good year 2023 (the park already announced nearly 2.8 million visitors in November) and with a view to the start of the season in spring 2024, Parc Astérix wishes to increase recruitment levels to welcome visitors in the best conditions, explains David Merafina, director of human resources. It is very important for us to attract motivated talent, which is why we have always been keen to recruit people whose commitment and motivation are felt by the public, since they ultimately represent the image of the park. daily. »

Two dedicated job forums this month and in February

Beginner, person in retraining or experienced, all profiles are welcome to join the teams of seasonal workers mobilized over an increasingly wide opening period, now covering the All Saints’ Day and Christmas holidays. The positions to be filled are mainly in the hotel, catering, reception, sales, management, maintenance and entertainment sectors.

In addition to the dedicated site for submitting applications, two job forums are already planned to accelerate the recruitment campaign. The first of these will take place on Saturday January 27 — from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Cité Suspended hotel — and is aimed at job seekers and intermittent workers in the entertainment industry. The second, which will take place on Saturday February 24 at the same times and at the same location, will concern students looking for a job.

“Social know-how” prized by recruiters

As in most companies now, Asterix recruiters will seek to detect among candidates a sense of commitment, excellent interpersonal skills and motivation rather than professional qualifications to recruit seasonal workers. This famous “soft know-how” is highly prized by human resources specialists and has remained the basis of the park’s recruitment campaigns for several years.
