The lawyer Mauricio Maravilla highlighted symbolic actions of the solemn session on the occasion of the report of the third year of Government.
The solemn session of last June 1 was a “staging” where it was shown that whoever “decides and commands” in the legislative Assembly is not the Assembly, but the President Nayib Bukele.
This was considered by the communicator and lawyer Mauricio Maravilla when analyzing in a recent TVX channel interview the speech delivered by the Salvadoran president at the beginning of his fourth year in office.

On the other hand, Maravilla stated that the state communication “intends to present us” to the president as the center of all state activity. “I hope not to commit a heresy with this, but let’s say that not a leaf is moved in the State if the president does not endorse it. He also recalled the words with which Ernesto Castro referred to the president by emphasizing that Bukele is a constitutional president.
