OnePlus will expand its product lineup in India on December 17 with the release of the OnePlus 15R smartphone and the OnePlus Pad Go 2 tablet, alongside availability in Europe and North America. The company promises significant advancements in durability and connectivity with these upcoming devices.
OnePlus 15R: Built to Withstand the Elements
OnePlus is touting the OnePlus 15R as having “industry’s most complete durability ratings,” with the smartphone undergoing certification for IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K standards. These ratings signify resistance to dust, water, and a range of extreme conditions. According to a company release, the 15R will also feature a redesigned camera module, angled at 45 degrees from the top-left corner, and a flat metal mid-frame for enhanced protection. The device will be available in Charcoal Black and Mint Breeze color options.
While full specifications remain under wraps, rumors suggest the OnePlus 15R could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with a substantial 7800mAh or larger capacity battery. Speculation also points to a 165Hz display and support for 100W fast charging.
OnePlus Pad Go 2: 5G Connectivity and Enhanced Productivity
The OnePlus Pad Go 2 marks a first for the Pad Go series, introducing 5G connectivity – available on the Shadow Black variant. Indian consumers will also have the option of Lavender Drift, both finished with a skin-friendly texture.
The standout feature of the Pad Go 2 is the OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo, the series’ first integrated stylus. The company is positioning this tablet as a versatile tool for students and professionals seeking affordable productivity solutions in India’s growing tablet market.
OnePlus plans to reveal complete specifications, features, and Indian pricing for both the OnePlus 15R and OnePlus Pad Go 2 in the weeks leading up to the December 17 launch event.
