MK Nir Orbach (right) does not like the attacks of left-wing ministers in the government, on the Chumash settlers. Tonight, the chairman of the Labor Party, Merav Michaeli, attacked the settlers who opposed the evacuation of the buildings in the Chumash and said:
“The State of Israel cannot allow rioters to run amok and harm human beings in general and those who protect us every day in particular. The Minister of Defense must put an end to this chaos.”
In response, Auerbach tweeted: “Merav, the rioters” are right-wing voters, thanks to whom she also sang the day in the Israeli government. It is time to stop belittling this camp of faith and values. I’m committed to them anyway. “
Orbach also added a reprimand to Michaeli, who endangers the coalition: “If a little in the existence of the government, continue this tone. It will lead us on the safe path there.”
The Golan storm barely subsided
It will be recalled that last week, Deputy Minister of Economy Yair Golan called the Chumash settlers “sub-human” and created a storm in the political system and condemnations from within his party, Meretz. The line hitting the settlers crosses the left-wing parties, from Meretz to Labor, when the Minister of Internal Security, Amar Bar-Lev, also attacked the settlers.
