Orbán – Don’t let illegal immigrants in at all!

In the usual Friday interview for Kossuth Radio, Prime Minister Orbán formulated a new approach to migration. He once again criticized the incompetent EU leadership in Brussels and reiterated speculation that the Ukraine war could have ended as early as March 2022.

How someone views migration depends on whether they have children. If you don’t have children, you can look at the matter personally. But parents also ask themselves what kind of country they are passing on to their children and grandchildren. Of course there are parents who don’t worry about the well-being of their offspring. Others, including himself, want to give their children the chance of a good life.

National unity against Gaza mini-ghettos

The question is not whether there are migrants in Budapest. The question is that once you let the illegal migrants into the country, you can’t get rid of them again. “But then the following generations will have to live their lives in an unsafe world, with terror, crime and Gaza mini-ghettos,” the Prime Minister concluded. To prevent such a scenario, Orbán calls for broad national unity. He accused the Left and Jobbik of supporting all immigration-friendly decisions in Brussels.

“We don’t want a mini-Gaza Budapest,
no terror
and no gang wars.”

“There is only one recipe: We must not allow illegal immigrants into the country in the first place.” In many Western European countries, the former colonial powers, peaceful coexistence was hardly conceivable even before 2015.

Since then, it has only been “a mathematical question” as to how the relations between members of different civilizations will shift. “And there ends the story of your own country. There are countries in Western Europe today whose inhabitants die in a country other than the one in which they were born.”

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán: “Hungary belongs to the Hungarians, who decide for themselves how they want to live in this country.”

EU rejects offer of tolerance

Hungary demands nothing more and nothing less from the EU than that it should not impose its policies on the country, which have already ruined the West. He is fortunate that as a politician he does not have to take a population of 10-20% of migrants into account when considering illegal immigration. “Hungary had its heart and mind in the right place in 2015 so as not to make the same mistake as the West.”

The Hungarian offer of tolerance to the West, the Germans, the French and Brussels is consistently that they will not interfere in their affairs, but would like to accept that Hungary looks at these things differently. But the EU rejects this offer of tolerance because it wants a uniform migration policy for all of Europe. They want to force a redistribution of their own migrants and Hungarians to build “migrant ghettos”.

“The EU leadership in Brussels is taking action
on behalf
oner globalist elite.”

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán on the public Kossuth Radio

The European elections in 2024 will, among other things, be about this dispute over direction. The Orbán government is launching a national consultation on the issue in order to strengthen the support of millions of citizens with a clear message. At the same time, the Prime Minister wants to strengthen legal standards and present a new residence law before the end of the year, with the aim of “making sure that everyone who stays in Hungary knows under what legal title and how long their stay is intended”. This is important “because otherwise they will take our land away.” Hungary belongs to the Hungarians, who alone should decide how to live in this country.

Brussels makes bad decisions

Orbán criticized the fact that the current EU leadership in Brussels does not look after the interests of European citizens, Hungarians, Germans or French, but rather pursues the interests of a globalist elite. “They make specific bad decisions that we then have to pay for, whether with illegal migration, with Ukraine’s EU membership or with the war in Ukraine.”

Citizens do not want uncontrolled immigration, war or a green transition that destroys traditional industries. It is not the EU that needs to be changed, “which we all are”, but the world of the Brussels bureaucrats so that they can finally act in the interests of the citizens of the community.

Ukraine far from der I

The Prime Minister referred to “rumors from diplomatic circles” that there had been an agreement between Ukrainians and Russians in Istanbul (in March 2022) to resolve the conflict. However, on instructions from the USA, the Ukrainians ultimately did not sign. This meant that Europe’s interests in isolating and localizing the conflict were negated by the USA for the second time after the Crimean crisis of 2015. The globalization of the war in Ukraine is neither in the interests of Hungary nor Europe.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán: “We are a Christian country, so we provide humanitarian aid. But we cannot keep the Ukrainian state alive with our money if it will bankrupt us.”

Orbán once again refused to offer Ukraine the start of EU accession negotiations. He justified this by pointing out that Ukraine was not at all ready for this. “Ukraine is as far from EU membership as Makó is from Jerusalem,” the Prime Minister compared with an old Hungarian saying.

The fact that Hungary flatly rejects the start of accession negotiations has nothing to do with its own financial demands on Brussels. “What Brussels owes us must be given to us without any preconditions.” Any attempt to establish a link with Ukraine is illegitimate.

“We are a Christian country,
so we provide humanitarian aid.
But we can the Ukrainianand State
not keep us alive with our money,
if it drives us to ruin.”
