Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAB) newly elected president M Shahadat Hossain Taslim said, we will strive to repay the huge votes of our members by fulfilling the responsibilities assigned to us through good work with honesty and devotion. Welfare of pilgrims and orderly management of Hajj is our main goal.
He said these things in the president’s speech at the first emergency meeting of the newly elected executive council at the Hub office on Monday (March 11). This information was informed in the press release of the Hub on Wednesday (March 13) afternoon.
Congratulating and wishing all the newly elected members, the Hub President said, I am grateful to Almighty God for electing the full panel with a huge margin of votes despite the negative, false, misleading and bizarre campaign against our panel. At the same time expressing gratitude to the hub members. Members have set an example and reposed deep trust in us by taking charge of the hub four times in a row by overwhelming votes. That trust must be repaid with action.
The meeting started with recitation of Quran by Maulana Masum Billah and prayer by Maulana Mosleh Uddin Alamgir presided over by newly elected President M Shahadat Hossain Taslim and moderated by General Secretary Farooq Ahmad Sardar.
In the meeting, the challenges of Hajj management in 2024 were discussed in detail and important decisions were made. Moreover, changes in the organogram of the Central Executive Council of the Hub were also discussed. In that meeting, it was decided to discuss in detail and take necessary measures to ensure smooth Hajj management of 2024 by meeting all the challenges.
Hub Vice President Maulana Ayakub Ali Sharafati, Maulana Fazlur Rahman and others were present in the meeting.
