In dialogue with El Destape Radio, the union member referred to the increase in prices in different items and reiterated that “the minimum wage should have an increase of at least 85%.” “If there is no change in the direction of the economic model, social conflict will grow,” he mentioned.
According to Moyano, due to the inflation of these last three months, the minimum wage should be updated “even though Indec draws inflation and the media tries to show that inflation is going down.” “The reality is different, that is why each union organization discusses salary increases every month,” he confirmed.
In addition, he also spoke about the recent increase in public transportation and reiterated that “whenever the right wins (the elections), the adjustment is paid for by the worker.”
“They hate the worker, you killed him with the rent, you killed him with the price of food, now with school supplies and now you kill him with transportation,” he said.
Moyano once again targeted Milei for the “omnibus law” and the DNU
On the other hand, Moyano said that the Government cannot establish dialogues. “The same thing is going to happen as with the ‘omnibus’ bill. Milei left the country, he believed that he managed politics and Congress turned its back on him.
“Surely it is going to happen with DNU: it is going to fall because both the political parties and the governors realized that it is a legal nonsense,” he said.
For Moyano, all this makes Javier Milei have “the urgency” to turn to Mauricio Macri “to forge an alliance and thus have greater power in Congress.”
Finally, the union member also spoke about the future of Peronism and said that “there were meetings with mayors, governors, without proposals for candidates because there must already be a renewal of Peronism in general to give answers and proposals to society.”
“In two years there are legislative elections and Peronism has to have a majority in Congress so that what is happening today does not happen. We must make a self-criticism, that those who led us to failure be held responsible,” he emphasized.
