Pak Court Suspends Ban On Live Telecast Of Imran Khan’s Speeches | There is no ban on telecasting Imran Khan’s speech live

by time news

Islamabad,

Last week, the Pakistani media had banned the live broadcast of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s speech.

Pakistan’s Media Regulatory Authority has banned the live telecast of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s speeches for threatening an Islamabad police officer and a woman magistrate while speaking during a public event in Islamabad.

In this situation, the High Court of Pakistan has today suspended the ban imposed by the Pakistan Media Organization on the live broadcast of Imran Khan’s speeches.

Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Athar Minallah, who heard the petition filed by Imran Khan in this regard, said that the Pakistan Media Monitoring Committee had violated its authority.

And the judge ordered them to justify the ban imposed by them. The next hearing of the case has been adjourned to September 5.
