Kottayam- Theikoi Ayyambara road waterlogged girl students were swept away. The incident happened on Monday around 3 pm. The female students of Theikoi St. Mary’s School narrowly escaped the accident.

After leaving school in the evening, while the students were walking along the road, a vehicle came towards them and while swerving to the side, they got caught in the flood. The accident was avoided because there was not much depth.

From this place it is only about 25 meters to Meenachilat. The CCTV footage of a nearby house has been released.
