The West Indies are touring Pakistan and playing in the T20 series and ODI series. First up is the ongoing T20 series. Pakistan won the first T20 match by 63 runs and the second T20 match was played today in Karachi.
Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first. Mohammad Rizwan (38), Haider Ali (31), Iftikhar Ahmed (32) and Shatab Khan (28) put on 172 for the West Indies, who scored 172 runs in 20 overs.
Chasing a target of 173, West Indies opener Brendon King struck 67 off 43 balls. Captain Nicholas Pooran scored just 26 off 26 balls. Romario Schford, who played well in the back row, struggled till the end with 35 off 19 balls with 2 fours and 2 sixes, but the West Indies managed only 163 runs in 20 overs.
Pakistan won the series 2-0 by 9 runs.
