RKI reports 61,288 new infections – the incidence drops to 413.7

The nationwide seven-day incidence fell again: from 422.3 the previous day to 413.7. The RKI was reported 13,064 fewer cases than on Friday a week ago. 484 other people died related to the virus.
Die nationwide Seven-day incidence new corona infections fell again slightly. According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Friday morning, the value was included 413,7. The day before it was 422.3, a week ago it was 442.1.
As the RKI further announced, citing data from the health authorities, were within 24 hours 61,288 new infections recorded.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the health authorities have 6,423,520 cases reported. The institute put the number of people recovered from illness caused by the coronavirus in Germany at around 5.329.300. The total number of corona deaths in Germany rose by 484 to 104,996.
The seven-day incidence indicates the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week. The value has risen rapidly since the beginning of November. As a result, new highs were recorded every day. The incidence has been falling steadily since the beginning of the week.
On November 18, the federal and state governments had the so-called as the decisive yardstick for tightening the corona measures Hospitalisierungsinzidenz set. This value indicates how many people per 100,000 inhabitants are in hospital within seven days because of a corona infection.
From a value of three, the 2G rule applies across the board for events in a federal state – that is, only those vaccinated against the coronavirus and those recovered from Covid-19 are allowed. According to the RKI, the hospitalization incidence was nationwide on Thursday 5,75.
