Passenger traffic of Russian airlines in June decreased by 13% compared to 2019

In June, Russian airlines carried 13% fewer passengers than in the same period of the pre-pandemic 2019. By June 2020, traffic increased almost fourfold.

“Russian airlines in June served 10.9 million passengers,” – follows from the operational data of the Federal Air Transport Agency.

In total, in January – June 2021, 43.9 million passengers were transported, which is 58% more than in the same period in 2020.

In June, Aeroflot carried 2.11 million passengers, S7 – 1.6 million passengers, Pobeda – 1.4 million, Rossiya – 1.1 million, Ural Airlines – 975,000 passengers.
