jpnn.comJAKARTA – Secretary of the PDI Perjuangan Jakarta Regional Leadership Council (DPD) Pantas Nainggolan said his party was currently selecting a number of names to contest the 2024 DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election.
According to him, the selection was carried out on the best cadres belonging to the PDIP.
“We are still in the process of screening, but in terms of resources, yes, PDIP has quite a lot,” said Pantas at Grand Cempaka, Bogor, Thursday (25/4).
Pantas then mentioned a number of big names such as Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini, Minister of PAN-RB Azwar Anas, Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadi Muljono, former TNI Commander Andika Perkasa, and Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Prasetyo Edi Marsudi.
“Yes, it could be like Risma. It could be the chairman of the DPRD (Pras), we have a lot of potential. “This includes, for example, Azwar Anas,” he said.
“Mr Basuki too, including Mr Andika (Perkasa).”
When asked about the name of former DKI Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, Pantas said the possibility of nominating Ahok remained.
However, he continued, PDIP also needs to consider many things.
No wonder Nainggolan said that PDIP is currently selecting a number of names to contest the 2024 DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election.
