Penalty for failure to act in advertisement; Barca prepared for strict measures

La Liga giants Barcelona F.C. have introduced new rules in the team. Reports suggest that the Spanish giants are going to implement the new rules to ensure discipline within and outside the squad and increase commitment to the club.

The management has strictly instructed the players to follow the three new rules introduced by the new team throughout the season.

Two of the three new rules are about celebrities’ use of social media. The main suggestion is not to use social media while participating in team activities. Apart from this, the law also states that no images or posts that affect the club in any way should be shared.

The third condition is that ten percent of the salary of the players will be taken if they do not act in the promotion of the team or in the advertisement that the team is a part of.

Apart from the rules brought by the management, coach Savvy has also devised some rules. Xavi has introduced ten new rules in the team which cover players’ health, team spirit, discipline and pre-match practice sessions.

Spanish outlet AS reported the news about this.

New rules introduced by Savi

1. Players should arrive 90 minutes before training.

2. Team staff should arrive two hours prior to departure.

3. Players must eat at the club’s training ground.

4. Penalty will start again.

5. Double fine will be enforced if the same mistake is repeated.

6. Two days prior to the match the players should arrive at the accommodation before midnight without wandering around.

7. Give their full effort in training.

8. Off-field actions of players will be monitored.

9. No ‘risky’ activities will be permitted under any circumstances.

10. Actors should maintain a good personality – Savi’s ‘Ten Commandments’

At the same time, Barca is showing a good performance in the season. Barca has also qualified for the Champions League by bringing players including Robert Lewandowski to the team through the transfer window.

Apart from Lewandowski, Barca brought Rafinha, Marcos Alonso, Frank Kessi, Hector Bellerin, Andres Christensen and Eules Conte to the team.

Barcelona beat Sevilla 3-0 in La Liga and are currently second in the points table. Arch-rivals Real Madrid are at the top of the points table.

Barca’s next match in La Liga is on September 10. The rivals are Cadiz.

Barca are in Group C of the Champions League. Other teams in the group are Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and Viktoria Plzen. Barca’s first match in the Champions League is against Victoria on September 8.
