The Nifty 50 index was up 11 points at 15,874.75 points. On the other hand, the Nifty Bank traded 133 points lower at 32,737.70 and the Nifty Midcap traded 64 points higher at 6,639.65.
Among the Nifty 50 index, TCS, NTPC, Tech Mahindra, Infosys and Adani Ports rose 1.3 per cent, trading in green. On the other hand, Hindalco Industries, Tata Steels, JSW Steel, ONGC and HDFC Bank fell 1.6 per cent today.
