Russian President Vladimir Putin has no plans to congratulate his American counterpart Joe Biden on Catholic Christmas, which is celebrated on December 25. This was announced by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, reports TASS.
“No, there are no plans,” Peskov answered the relevant question.
The last time Putin and Biden spoke via video link was on December 7. The topic of the two-hour talks was the situation in the east of Ukraine. Before the meeting, a number of American media outlets, including Bloomberg, had information about a possible invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops. The Russian authorities have repeatedly said that there are no such plans.
