Shares of Piramal Enterprises Ltd (PEL) today reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 150.53 crore for the March quarter, down nearly 10 per cent from its 52-week low of Rs 510.39 crore in the year-ago period. Said in a statement.

Shares of Bramal Enterprises fell 10 per cent to a 52-week low of Rs 1,679 in today’s intra-day trade, after the company’s financial services business lost Rs 321 crore in the fourth quarter of 2022 due to over-allocation in the March quarter. And interest withdrawals totaling Rs 1,037 crore. The company had a pre-tax profit (PAT) of Rs 243 crore in the fourth quarter of 2021.

The company had a total of Rs 1,037 crore of additional allocation and interest repayment for selected RE accounts transferred to Stage-2.

The stock fell below its previous low of Rs 1,688 today. It fell 44 per cent from its 52-week high of Rs 3,013 on October 7, 2021. At 09:52 am, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 8.5 per cent, up 0.86 per cent.

However, on the BSE, the company’s stock was last traded at Rs 1,669.55. After falling to a 52-week low of Rs 1659.45, it fell 10 per cent.

Pramal Enterprises had a net profit of Rs. 3,401.56 crore to Rs. Recorded a combined revenue of Rs 4,162.94 crore through operations.

For the financial year ended March 31, 2022, consolidated net profit was Rs. 1,998.77 crore, compared to Rs. 1,412.86 crore as compared to Rs. 1,412.86 crore. Pramal Enterprises and its Board have recommended a dividend of Rs. The total dividend is expected to be Rs 788 crore, subject to shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
