The 4-year-old gelding trained by Daniela Mele led the peloton behind Iyengar de Pail (n°2), the breakaway of the day. His jockey Lucas Zuliani did not panic and gradually returned to the host. In the final turn, Exciting Light caught Iyengar de Pail and flew towards the finishing post to win.
