Markus Köhle and Mieze Medusa have been shaping the Austrian poetry slam scene for over 20 years. Yasmin Hafedh is one of the great success stories: whether as rapper Yasmo or as a spoken word poet, her texts have pull and flow. Together with Mieze Medusa, she brings the queen discipline of the slam scene to the stage in Rankweil. They perform as team MYLF (Mothers you’d like to flow with). Her texts are about canned beer and recycling, cozy skirts, the end of the world, Beyoncé, art, life and whether you can make a living from art. Synchronous, in time and relevant.

In his novel “The village is like the internet, it forgets nothing,” Markus Köhle manages to achieve the balancing act between spoken word and novel in one. The present and the past are brought into light in an exciting language. An Austrian rally of a different kind. Insights into the Austrian soul that have rarely been granted before.

Can’t decide between a reading, a cabaret or an evening at the theater? This evening is for you!
