Pokemon Go Winter Wishes Timed Research Tasks and Rewards Revealed
With the Pokemon Go Winter Holiday: Part 1 event on the horizon, trainers are gearing up for the new event-exclusive Pokemon Go Timed Research called Winter Wishes. This timed research will offer players the chance to obtain a Cetoddle, as well as other rewards, during the event, which will run from December 18-25.
The Winter Wishes Timed Research will feature a series of tasks that, once completed, will allow trainers to choose a path and continue earning rewards. The tasks and rewards for the timed research are as follows:
Step 1 of 1
- Catch five Pokemon – Reward: Glacial Lure Module x1
- Spin three PokeStops or Gyms – Reward: Random Pokemon encounter
- Power up Pokemon five times – Reward: Silver Pinap Berry x2
Rewards for completing Step 1: 500 Stardust, 500 XP
Upon completing the initial set of tasks, trainers will have the option to choose from two different paths to continue earning rewards: collecting XP or collecting Stardust.
Collecting XP Path
- Catch 10 Pokemon – Reward: Holiday Spheal encounter
- Catch 25 Pokemon – Reward: Eevee encounter
- Catch 40 Ice-type Pokemon – Reward: Lapras encounter
- Catch eight different species of Ice-type Pokemon – Reward: Holiday Stantler encounter
- Send 25 Gifts to friends – Reward: Holiday Pikachu encounter
- Earn 25,000 XP – Reward: Cetoddle encounter
Rewards for completing XP Path: Galarian Mr. Mime and Lucky Egg x1
Collecting Stardust Path
- Catch 10 Pokemon – Reward: Holiday Spheal encounter
- Catch 25 Pokemon – Reward: Eevee encounter
- Catch 40 Ice-type Pokemon – Reward: Lapras encounter
- Catch eight different species of Ice-type Pokemon – Reward: Holiday Stantler encounter
- Send 25 Gifts to friends – Reward: Holiday Pikachu encounter
- Earn 7,500 Stardust – Reward: Cetoddle encounter
Rewards for completing Stardust Path: Galarian Mr. Mime and Star Piece x1
