Whitney Cummings Welcomes Baby Boy, Six Months After Announcing Pregnancy

Beloved comedian Whitney Cummings has officially become a mother, recently welcoming her first child, a baby boy. At 41 years old, Cummings excitedly shared the news on Instagram with a heartwarming photo of her holding her newborn son. The post was captioned, “3-D printed a human. Enjoy me never having brushed hair again.”

This delightful news comes six months after the stand-up comedian first announced her pregnancy back in June, in a humorous Instagram post that showed off her baby bump. “In these pix, I am with child. And there’s a baby in me too,” Cummings wrote alongside the photos at the time, revealing that her upcoming baby was due in December.

While Cummings has not provided any details about the father of her child, she previously acknowledged her relationship with Alex Barnes in August 2021. The couple met under unusual circumstances when Barnes came to her aid after one of her dogs had a medical emergency. Despite the unconventional beginning, their relationship became more serious, and Cummings even joked about wanting to propose to Barnes herself.

Before her pregnancy, Cummings was open about her decision to freeze her eggs. During an appearance on the Today show in February, she humorously shared, “I did freeze my eggs. They have beautiful beachfront in Redondo, California. They’re on better real estate than me.” She then expressed her desire to conceiving by the end of the year, despite feeling like she had “all the time in the world.”

Cummings fans can still look forward to her upcoming comedy tour in 2023, as the comedian assured that all her tour dates are still happening. Congratulations to Whitney Cummings on the arrival of her baby boy!
