This Wednesday morning, the Urgent Spanish Foundation – promoted by the Royal Spanish Academy and the EFE Agency – has chosen ‘polarization’ as the word of the year 2023. The definition used by the Dictionary of the Spanish Language about polarizing is, among others things, ‘orient between two opposing directions’.
