This Saturday afternoon, the Al-Shorta youth team will play a derby match against its counterpart, Al-Zawraa, at Al-Zawraa Stadium for the youth league for the current season (2023-2024).
Police youth coach Muhammad Mohsen told the (INA): “Our youth team is moving at a steady pace despite stumbling in its first match against the Al-Hodood team, but the technical staff gathered the team’s cards again and succeeded in winning the last two matches against Al-Sinaa and Amanat Baghdad.” .
He added, “These results gave the players great confidence and they are determined to achieve victory in today’s match, which is considered the most important because winning it will put us at the top of the group standings, in addition to the return of some injured players and their full readiness for this important confrontation.”
He explained, “Facing Al-Zawraa is very difficult, given the technical staff and good players the opposing team has, but this will motivate us to perform well and achieve the full mark.”
