New discovery in the archaeological park of Pompeii, in the northern area of ​​Regio V, one of the great districts of the ancient city: small furnished rooms were found around the sumptuous lararium depicting an ‘enchanted garden’, already excavated in 2018 during interventions maintenance of excavation fronts.

These are in particular plates, vases, amphorae, glass and terracotta objects left in trunks and cabinets, hastily abandoned during the catastrophe and recovered today with the tools of the stratigraphic excavation. But also less documented objects such as a precious decorated perfume burner and the unique group of seven waxed tablets gathered from a string, of which it was possible to make a cast.
