A felicitation ceremony was held in Chennai for Chief Minister M.K.Stalin for being re-elected as the President of DMK. Ministers, D.K. Leader Veeramani and many others participated.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Ponmudi said that he is now afraid to say the word ‘Vaya Poya’. The leader looked at me and told me not to talk like that. They are targeting and attacking the BJP. What else can politics be done with in DMK rule? They do politics by holding on to a word.
The Chief Minister has advised me not to talk like this. He said that they are doing politics by using common words. In fact, I am sorry if anyone’s heart has been hurt.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Durai Murugan said that it is not normal for a party that has one crore people in India to conduct elections in 6 months without any problems and to elect a leader. DMK is not a party but a movement. There will be movement only if the principles are preserved. Anna, after Karunanidhi, only Stalin has this power,’ he said.
