A video of him and his son Fletcher William Ponting meeting India and Royal Challengers superstar Virat Kohli has gone viral recently. The video posted by Delhi Capitals on Twitter has been viewed by more than four lakh people.
In the video, Kohli and Ponting are seen standing stunned while talking. The video also shows Ponting encouraging his son to talk to Kohli.
Kohli surpassed Ponting in the number of international centuries in December 2022. Kohli scored his 44th century in the last ODI against Bangladesh in Chittagong. Only Sachin Tendulkar is ahead of Kohli in scoring hundreds. Kohli found the century after a gap of three years.
