Annually, Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Pal Puraskar (PMRBP) awards are given to boys and girls between the ages of 5 to 18 who have achieved achievements in the fields of arts and culture, heroism, innovation, science and technology, social service, sports, etc.

These awards are given to the children who are selected after a series of tests and a medal and a certificate from the government.

On January 22, President Draupathi Murmu will present the Bal Puraskar Awards to 19 children for this year.

The event will be held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.

On the same day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the “Pran Pratishta” program at the grand temple of Lord Rama in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.

On January 23, PM Modi interacts with the children who received the “Pal Puraskar” awards.

This time, 9 boys and 10 girls from 18 Indian states and union territories, 2 aspirational districts have been selected for the award.

After the program, Union Minister for Women and Child Welfare Smriti Irani will interact with the awardees.
