Actor Prashant, who is known as Top Star by his fans, is celebrating his 50th birthday today. In the year 2018, Ayushmann Khurrana and Tabu starrer Andathun was a huge hit in Bollywood.
Andathun got the number one spot on IMDB ahead of Rakshasan released that year. Prashanth’s father Thiagarajan, seeing what kind of film it was, immediately grabbed the remake rights of the film for his son in 2019.
Jayam Ravi’s brother, Mohan Raja, who directs remake films perfectly, thought that the film could be directed. But within a few days of the announcement, Mohan Raja withdrew from the film Aiya Sami Alaavidunga.
Jyothika starrer Ponmagal Vandal was directed by J. J. I don’t know what happened to the panchayat in the place where the shooting was done and the title called Andagan was ready for Frederick. The director said that I have not directed this film before, so I am directing the film myself for my son. Thiagarajan took the role of director for his son even at this age because he knew how big a person I was at that time.
Andhagan directed the film by booking Priya Anand opposite Prashanth and casting Simran as Willy. But the reason is not known. Even on this birthday Andhagan movie is not released. Andathoon Malayalam remake titled Brahmam starring Prithviraj and Rashi Khanna was released and became a hit.
Fans are wishing actor Top Star Prashanth on his birthday with the hope that Andhagan will be released in Tamil this year.
