Pravasi Malayalee Foundation celebrates ‘Saudi Foundation Day’

Riyadh: The Pravasi Malayalee Foundation Riyadh Central Committee celebrated the first founding day of the land that provides food.

Founding Day is celebrated to introduce and remember the history and heritage of the country to the new generation. Muhammad bin Saud is the founder of the first Saudi state and dynasty. Between 1727 and 1765, Imam Muhammad bin Saud ruled from Riyadh with Diriya as its center. Founding Day is celebrated to commemorate the Saudi founder and share the joy.

The Pravasi Malayalee Foundation celebrated the occasion by cutting a cake and offering sweets.

The ceremony was inaugurated by 24 News Reporter VJ Nasrudin. Jayan Kodungallur, media person,
Nadirsha Rahiman, PMF National Committee office bearers Shibu Usman and Johnson, social activists Ayub Karupadanna and Rajan Karichal, Riyadh Central Committee office bearers Salim Walilapuzha, Latif Karunagappally, Siyad Varkala, Latif Sooranad and Shias offered their congratulations.

Riyadh Central Coordinator Salim Walilapuzha honored Rajan Karichal with a shawl. Altaf, Muttalib and Afzal Shanawaz led the function.

President Shahjahan Chavakkad presided over the function. National Committee Coordinator Suresh Shankar delivered the introductory speech. Yasser Kodungallur welcomed and Alex Predin thanked.
