Kochi: Praveen Rana, the prime accused in the Safe and Strong Nikshepa fraud case, has been arrested. Praveen will be taken into custody from Coimbatore this evening while the police investigation is continuing in other states as well. The investigation team is interrogating Rana who was brought to Thrissur. Interrogation takes place in a secret facility.
It is suggested that a native of Perumbavoor had prepared a hideout for Rana in Tamil Nadu. It was Rana’s call to the family from the guest worker’s phone that helped the police find the hideout. The police team came here and took Rana into custody by force.

Praveen Rana lived in a small town between Coimbatore and Pollachi. He was tied up and dressed as Kashay with his bodyguards. After being accused in the case, Praveen Rana left the state on the 6th of this month.
Last day, the police reached the flat owned by Pankali in Kadavantra, Kochi to arrest Rana, but he managed to escape. . Thrissur police were present in Rana’s flat. When the police went to Mughal for checks, Rana Mato Rescued in the elevator.

Praveen Rana committed the fraud through Safe and Strong Marketing Consultancy in Thrissur. It is reported that Praveen Rana had smuggled the black money of Rs 80 crore to Pune, Mumbai and Bengaluru. The initial conclusion is that with all the victimized investors filing complaints, the extent of fraud is likely to exceed Rs 150 crore.
It is reported that money was spent on the film to hide the black money. In 2020, the film Anan has been produced and Praveen Rana has appeared in the lead role. Praveen Rana also produced the 2022 film Choran and played the lead role in it.
