Sinapress 2024 it’s a prevention system which will be active during the Easter and that will have pre-hospital care camps and other services for Guatemalans and foreigners visiting the country.

Sinaprese 2024, emergency prevention and care system during Holy Week in Guatemala
With the arrival of Holy Week, one of the most commemorative and crowded times of the year in Guatemala, the National Holy Week Prevention System also emerges, known as Sinapressdirected by CONRED.
Sinaprese is an inter-institutional effort that covers the entire Guatemalan territory, aimed at preventing and responding to risk, emergency or disaster situations that may arise during Holy Week.
With the collaboration of various institutions, camps, control and prevention posts are established on routes, beaches and tourist centers with the greatest affluence in the country, including summer destinations and processional processions.
Services that will be provided in the Sinaprese 2024 camps
For this year, 22 camps have been established distributed throughout the national territory. These camps will provide the following services:
- Prehospital care
- Information
- Security
- Road attention
In addition to the camps, processional processions will also be monitored in the Historic Center of Guatemala City, Antigua Guatemala and Quetzaltenango.

Start and end of Sinaprese operations 2024
Sinaprese 2024 operations will begin on March 22, 2024 at 06:00 a.m., covering a period of 11 days. During this time, the personnel of the institutions that make up the CONRED system will be deployed in the camps, operating from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to guarantee the safety and well-being of citizens and visitors.
It is important to highlight that the protocol will be deactivated on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. throughout the national territory. From this moment on, the demobilization of personnel and the dismantling of the camps will proceed, marking the end of this year’s operations.
