Getafe x Granada predictions: our predictions

Jorge Bordalás’ team has a golden opportunity this Monday. They receive the penultimate placed in the competition: Granada.

Although the most recent results are not the most favorable for the team from the capital, they need to win to remain in middle of table and move away from the relegation zone.

Getafe went through an irregular phase in the last five games, between the Cup and the League. They suffered three defeats (two in a row), they managed a victory e a tie. They scored four of the last twelve points played in the local tournament. Furthermore, lost the last two home games.

On the other hand, Granada are doing so badly that they make Getafe’s numbers look good. The Nazarí team lost four last two five games. They have picked up just three points from the last fifteen in contention.

Currently, they occupy the 19th position with 11 points in 21 rounds. They scored 22 goals and conceded 42, resulting in a goal difference of -20. Therefore, it is most likely that Granada will not win: Getafe win or draw. That’s our guess!

Total goals – Under 2.5

Getafe is not going through its best offensive moment. The Madrid team only found the net seven times em five games. Of note is the 3-3 draw against Atlético de Madrid at Cívitas Metropolitano and the two goals scored in Pamplona against Osasuna. The average number of goals per game for Bordalás’ team is 1,30.

The home team has its main hope in attack: Borja Mayoral. The former Real player is the main offensive weapon from the blue team. He scored 31 goals and gave an assistance this season. He is the team’s top scorer alongside Mason Greenwood.

Granada is the opposite of a goal. The whites and reds have an average of 1.05 goals per game. In the last five gamesmarked only two goals. Furthermore, they were four games without finding the net.

Because of this, our guess is that the game will not have many goals: maximum twoto be exact.

Tie not interval

Although Getafe starts with an advantage play at home, the last games as home team did not go as planned. They went to break in disadvantage on the scoreboard. Furthermore, considering home and away games, they went into half-time with an advantage on just one occasion (0-1 against Espanyol in the Copa del Rey).

The visiting team is also in a bad phase: they went to the dressing room with an advantage on the scoreboard only once em five games. This suggests that it will be a very balancedas both teams arrive at a similar pace and technical level.
