Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has said that Mathura is part of the BJP’s agenda following Ram Janmabhoomi.

The BJP and Hindu organizations claimed ownership of Rama’s birthplace, Rama’s birthplace, in Ayodhya. In a case that lasted for many years, the Supreme Court ruled that the place belonged to Hindus. Since then, construction of the Ram Temple has been underway at the site.

Similarly, the BJP has targeted Krishna’s birthplace Krishna’s birthplace in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Mosques are located near Krishna Janmabhoomi. Various Hindu organizations have already filed petitions claiming that the mosque land belongs to Hindus.

In this context, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has said that Mathura is part of the BJP’s agenda following Ram Janmabhoomi.

Yesterday on his ‘Twitter’ page, he said, ” With the construction of the grand temple in Ayodhya, the next step is Mathura. Long live the fame of Rama. Jai Sri Radhe Krishna. ” He said.

With assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh still a few months away, his comment has caused political controversy.
