The early presidential elections in Azerbaijan are being held clearly and transparently.

The famous Azerbaijani performer Vagif Nagiyev told Trend about this on Wednesday, Day.Az reports.

“When I arrived at the polling station, I saw a large line of people wanting to vote. This did not surprise me at all, I was sure that all citizens of our country would actively vote. I came to the polling station with my son, he is five years old. This is also significant for me “The day before, since I lived in Ukraine, I voted there at the embassy of our country. And today I am voting in Azerbaijan for the first time. The early presidential elections are being held clearly and transparently,” he emphasized.

It should be noted that voting in the presidential elections is taking place today in Azerbaijan.

The candidate from the ruling New Azerbaijan Party Ilham Aliyev, self-nominated candidates Zahid Oruj and Fuad Aliyev, the candidate from the National Front Party Razi Nurullayev, the candidate from the Great Creation Party – Fazil Mustafa, the candidate from the Great Azerbaijan Party – Elshad Musayev, from the Party are competing for the post of President United Popular Front of Azerbaijan – Gudrat Hasanguliyev.

The Information Center of the CEC Secretariat will provide preliminary data on the voting process and its results at 17:00 and 19:00.

Let us remind you that there are 6 million 478 thousand 623 people on the voter list. They will vote at 6,537 polling stations across the country.

More than 90 thousand observers are registered to observe the elections.

For the first time in the history of independent Azerbaijan, elections cover the entire territory of the country, including lands liberated from occupation. 26 polling stations have been created in the territories liberated from occupation.
