Prime Energy reports: the total capacity of the facilities grew by 44% to about 26 megawatts

Starting from the second quarter of 2022, price drops were recorded in the equipment and raw materials (for example – the cost of the iron required to build dual-use solar installations decreased by about 60%, the costs of marine transportation returned to the price levels of before the Corona epidemic, and accordingly also the cost of the solar panels that convert and more). This trend is expected to have a positive effect on Prime Energy’s activities in preparation for the establishment of the company’s backlog of projects, amounting to hundreds of megawatts.

The company reports that the commercial operation of phase 1 of the project in Moshav Telim, with a capacity of approximately 7.7 megawatts (DC), has been successfully completed. The company is working to bring forward the connection of the second phase of the project to 2023. Dual-use competitive procedure – at the time of signing the financial statements, the company received solar production licenses for 17 facilities with a capacity of approximately 163 megawatts (DC). The rest of the licenses are expected to be received in the coming months.
