Prime Minister Modi’s Visit to Chennai: Five-Tier Security in Place Ahead of Scheduled Events

CHENNAI: Ahead of Prime Minister Modi’s visit, five-tier security has been put in place in important areas in Chennai today.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Tamil Nadu on Monday to participate in government and party functions. He will arrive in Chennai by flight from Maharashtra at 1.15 pm and will take a helicopter from the airport to Kalpakkam Helipad Center. Later, at 3.30 pm, he will visit the Kalpakkam Nuclear Reactor Development Project.

Following this, PM Modi will also participate in the BJP general meeting at Nandanam YMCA grounds. BJP sources said that the alliance party leaders will also participate in this general meeting.

Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Chennai and the BJP general meeting, security has been put in place in five major areas.

Earlier, due to Prime Minister Modi’s visit and various reasons, flying of drones has been banned in Chennai till April 29.

Also, tight security arrangements have been made in Chennai and Chengalpattu districts. PM Modi leaves Telangana state after attending Nandanam rally.

It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Modi is coming to Tamil Nadu on Monday for the second time in the last one week.
