Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with a bipartisan delegation of senators from the “Abraham Accords Lobby” in Congress

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met today with a bipartisan delegation of senators from the “Abraham Accords Lobby” in the US Congress, led by Democratic Senator Jackie Rosen and Republican Senator James Lankford.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the strong partnership between the countries that are members of the agreements: Israel, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Morocco, and the potential for closer cooperation in all areas. They also discussed the importance of cross-party support in the House of Representatives for the Abraham Accords and the opportunities to expand them.

In addition, the Prime Minister presented the Israeli point of view regarding the Iranian threat and how it can be dealt with by posing a credible military threat and exerting economic and political pressure, and potentially tightening cooperation in this context.

The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer, the head of the National Assembly Tzachi Hanegbi, and the ambassadors of the two countries: the Israeli ambassador to the US Mike Herzog and the US ambassador to Israel Thomas Neides.
