Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged the District Commissioners to take effective measures to prevent illegal hoarding of products and price increase by increasing the vigilance of the District Commissioners in controlling the market.

He made this call at the opening ceremony of the four-day Deputy Commissioner (DC) Conference-2024 from Shapla Hall of the Prime Minister’s Office on Sunday (March 3).

Sheikh Hasina said, market conditions should be observed. Ramadan actually some traders want to increase the price by stocking and take profit. Care must be taken to ensure that consumers are not harassed anywhere. Importance should be given to our own production rather than depending on foreign countries.
