Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has prayed to Almighty Allah Rabbul Alamin for the future progress, peace, prosperity and welfare of the beloved motherland Bangladesh and the Muslim world in the holy month of Ramadan.

In a message given on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, which will begin on Tuesday (March 12), the Prime Minister said, ‘May Almighty Allah grant us Tawfiq to implement the teachings of the holy month of Ramadan in our national life. May the month of Ramadan bring peace in our lives, may the lives of all be prosperous. In the holy month of Ramadan, I wish to Almighty Allah Rabbul Alamin for the future progress, peace, prosperity and welfare of the beloved motherland Bangladesh and the Muslim world.’

On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Prime Minister congratulated the countrymen and the world Muslim Ummah and said that the holy month of Ramadan, the month of fasting and moderation, is among us. In this holy month, through self-restraint, the soul is purified and there is a wonderful opportunity to obtain the pleasure, nearness and forgiveness of the Almighty Allah. Siam plays a unique role in establishing mutual sympathy, harmony and brotherhood between the rich and the poor.

Inspired by the teachings of the holy month of Ramadan, he urged to protect the sanctity of Ramadan by avoiding all indulgences, hatred, exuberance and conflict and showing moderation, patience and moderation in all walks of life.
