Prince Harry’s memoir, what’s left, continues to reverberate inside and outside the British royal family. Among the controversies exposed, his revelation of drug use was one of the ones that drew the most attention. In a certain passage, he even stated that one of the experiences was at the home of actress Courteney Cox.

On Saturday (4), Harry participated in a private live with the Hungarian-Canadian doctor Gabor Maté and returned to the subject; he highlighted the importance of Meghan Markle, as reported by international tabloids such as People and Mirror. “My wife saved me. I was trapped in one world, and she came from a different world and helped me out of it,” he declared.

According to him, the actress encouraged him to seek professional help. The fear of losing Meghan, then, made him understand the importance of taking therapy seriously. “My partner is an exceptional human being, and I am forever grateful for the wisdom and space she was able to give me,” he added.

The prince said he no longer uses cocaine and justified that the substance did not bring him benefits. “It was more of a social thing, to try to feel a sense of belonging, for sure. […] Marijuana is different, it really helped me,” he said.
