Princess Kate and Prince William Release Family Christmas Photo
In the spirit of the holiday season, Prince William and Princess Kate have released their family Christmas photo for 2023. The photo features the royal couple with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, and was taken in Windsor, where the family resides.
The photo, which is featured on the family’s 2023 Christmas card, was taken by London-based photographer Josh Shinner. This marks the ninth consecutive year that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have shared their family Christmas photo with the public.
In recent years, the royal family has opted for more relaxed and outdoor settings for their Christmas photos. Last year’s photo showed the family walking hand-in-hand outside in Norfolk, where they have a country home at Anmer Hall, while the 2021 photo was taken during a trip to Jordan.
Previous Christmas card photos have also been taken at Anmer Hall, with one photo showing the family sitting on haystacks in front of stacks of firewood and another featuring the family posing on a low-hanging tree branch.
The palace has not yet announced where the royal family plans to spend the Christmas holiday this year, but the release of their Christmas photo has brought holiday joy to their well-wishers and fans.
