ProD2: Grenoble maintained… but sanctioned

FC Grenoble Rugby, initially demoted to National (3rd div.) for financial reasons, was finally maintained in ProD2, the Grenoble club announced on Thursday. However, the Isère club is penalized with a withdrawal of six points to start the championship.

At the end of last season, the FCG, finalist of the last edition, beaten by Oyonnax (14-3), had played the match of accession in Top 14, lost against Perpignan (33-19).
