Province of Tata: multidisciplinary medical caravan as part of operation “Riaya”
Tata – Residents of the commune of Issafen (Province of Tata) benefited from the services of a multidisciplinary medical caravan, organized Thursday by the Provincial Delegation of Health and Social Protection as part of the operation “Riaya 2023 -2024”.
Initiated in coordination with the prefecture of the province of Tata, the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) and the Regional Directorate of Health and Social Protection of Souss-Massa as well as civil society, this initiative aims to bring together medical services for citizens living in the douars within the municipality of Issafen and meeting the needs of the population in terms of health services and medical care.
Mobilizing a medical staff made up of general practitioners and specialists, nurses and administrative and technical executives, this caravan, which covered several medical specialties, was also marked by the distribution of free medicines for the benefit of patients.
Carried out from November 15 to March 30 in execution of the High Royal Instructions, the “Riaya 2023-2024” operation responds to the needs of populations living in areas affected by the cold wave and guarantees the continuity of health services in these areas. .
This initiative aims to ensure an adequate response to the health care needs of the population and to strengthen the availability of curative and preventive care and awareness-raising actions at the level of serving health centers.
