The smoke bombs at the Auteuil corner definitely did not please UEFA. The European body fined PSG 98,000 euros for a series of incidents, including the use of smoke bombs before the match, during its Champions League match won at home against AC Milan (3 -0), on October 25. In detail, the UEFA disciplinary body fined the Parisian club 75,000 euros for lighting smoke bombs in the stands, 18,000 euros for blocking public passages and 5,000 for trespassing on the pitch.

Furthermore, specifies UEFA in a series of decisions taken on November 9 and 10 but published on Wednesday, PSG will be subject to a partial closure of the Parc des Princes for its next European home meeting, suspended and a probationary period of two years. The body opened a disciplinary case the day after the meeting.

AC Milan also sanctioned

Last season, the capital club was fined more than 60,000 euros during the pyrotechnic show which was held in the same Auteuil stand during the first match against Juventus Turin in September 2022 (2- 1). PSG was therefore not subject to a reprieve.

Other information, UEFA did not sanction the Parisian club in relation to the banners displayed at the end of the first period on the bend. The latter had issued various messages about the situation in Israel and Gaza, while the platform has already shown its support for the Palestinian cause in the past, and in tribute to the victims of terrorism.

For its part, AC Milan was fined 20,000 euros for “disturbances” among its supporters and 3,000 euros for lighting smoke bombs.
