by time news

Will or will not come back to Paris? Xavi Simons’ future is not his concern at the moment. In fact, the 19-year-old Dutchman has none. He’s been having a blast since this summer at PSV Eindhoven and that’s all that matters to him. At the microphone of his new club, the young midfielder nevertheless confirmed that there is a clause in his contract allowing him to return to Paris for a certain amount. Except that he is the one who decides. And he doesn’t want to. At least not at the moment.

“I have to make that choice. It’s true that I have a clause, he admits. This clause is between me and PSV, not with PSG. It’s a clause that if I wanted to go to PSG, I could leave for a certain amount at the end of the season. To be honest, it’s not in my head to move. I just moved here and I feel good here. I think that is also reflected on the pitch. It’s not in my head to change now”.

Since the start of the season, the young international has scored eight goals and provided four assists in fifteen games in all competitions. The Dutch crack was to extend his lease with the champion of France, where he arrived at 16, then be loaned to PSV in the process. It was finally free that he left the capital club to sign a five-year contract with Eindhoven.
