Measure aims to adapt supply to expected demand during the November 15th holiday

On the Proclamation of the Republic holiday, which will be celebrated this Wednesday (15), public transport users will face a significant reduction in the bus fleet circulating around the city. According to Agetran (Municipal Transport and Traffic Agency), the operation will be reduced to approximately 43% of the usual total.
On weekdays, the city uses 100% of the total public transport fleet, which currently stands at 461 vehicles. On Saturdays, 60% are operated, and on Sundays, only 28%. However, during the Proclamation of the Republic holiday, the operation will be adjusted to offer 43% of the fleet.
Lines 054, 080, 081, 515 and 522 will operate with the Saturday functional plan, while the other lines will follow the Sunday and holiday plan. According to Agetran, the change proposes to optimize resources according to the expected demand during the holiday.
Details about changes to lines and timetables can be checked in advance on the Consórcio Guaicurus website (www.consorcioguaicurus.com.br) or through the Peg Fácil application, making it easier for users to plan during the holiday. Agetran emphasizes the importance of checking this information in advance to avoid inconvenience and ensure smoother travel during the national holiday.
