jpnn.comLUWU – PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) handed over aid to victims of flash floods and landslides due to extreme weather that occurred in Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi (Sulsel).

The handover was carried out directly by the Sulamapa Pupuk Indonesia Regional Sales team together with the Luwu Regency BPBD and the Acting (Pj) Regent of Luwu, Muh Saleh.

Providing assistance is a form of collaboration between Pupuk Indonesia’s Environmental Social Responsibility (TJSL) unit with the South Sulawesi Provincial Social Service and the Luwu Regency Government.

“We have handed over the assistance directly to the Acting Regent of Luwu, Mr. Muh Saleh at the Luwu Disaster Emergency Response Main Post which is coordinated by the Southern Province Social Service and the Luwu Regency Government,” said GM Region 2 of Pupuk Indonesia, Fickry Martawisuda.

He added that his party hopes that the assistance provided will be useful for the people of Luwu and its surroundings.

Fickry appreciated the Social Service and the Main Command Post Team for Disaster Emergency Response who received assistance from Pupuk Indonesia.

The assistance provided by the Company was in the form of 80 tons of rice for 16,000 aid packages.
