So far, one death and more than 20 injuries have been reported. For its part, Moscow reported shelling in the Belgorod region.

Russia shelled a clinic with missiles in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro, leaving one dead and more than 20 wounded, and in turn received heavy artillery fire in a border region with Ukraine.

“Missile attack on a clinic in the city of Dnipro. One person was killed,” Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky wrote on Telegram after a night of Russian air strikes on other parts of the country, including Kiev.

The head of the military administration of the Dnipro region, Serguii Lysak, indicated that the deceased was a 69-year-old pedestrian, and that 23 people were injured, including two children aged three and six, who had to be hospitalized.

Zelensky posted a video in which buildings are badly damaged and from which columns of smoke rise.

Local media published videos of rescuers helping people with bloody faces escape from the clinic through corridors littered with rubble.

“Another Russian missile attack, another crime against humanity,” Zelensky added.

Lysak stressed that the region, in central Ukraine, was “massively attacked” overnight “with missiles and drones.”

Kiev also said it suffered overnight the 13th Russian air strike since the beginning of the month, this time with cruise missiles launched by Tu-95MS bombers from the Caspian Sea region.
